Terms & Conditions
Pink Rainbow Designs
These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed with Pink Rainbow Designs for personalised clothing, workwear, embroidery, printing and other customised products.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Personalised & Custom-Made Goods
The majority of our products are made or personalised specifically for each customer.
Please ensure that all details supplied to us, including names, spellings, sizes, colours, quantities, logos and artwork, are correct before your order is confirmed.
Once personalisation or production has begun, orders cannot normally be changed or cancelled.
Personalised and custom-made items cannot normally be returned or exchanged simply because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, not as described, or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
2. Artwork & Logo Approval
Customers are responsible for supplying suitable and accurate artwork.
Where we create, adapt or digitise artwork for embroidery or printing, we may provide a digital proof for approval before production.
It is the customer's responsibility to check the proof carefully, including:
-
Spelling and wording
-
Layout and positioning
-
Logo design
-
Colours
-
Sizes and proportions
Once a proof has been approved, Pink Rainbow Designs cannot accept responsibility for errors that were visible on the approved proof.
A digital proof is a visual representation only. Minor differences may occur between the proof shown on screen and the finished embroidered or printed product.
3. Colour Matching
We will always make reasonable efforts to match embroidery and print colours as closely as possible to the artwork, logo or colour reference supplied by the customer.
However, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed unless a specific thread or print colour has been expressly agreed by us in writing before production.
Colours displayed on phones, tablets, monitors and other screens can vary considerably depending on the device, display settings, brightness and the colour profile of the artwork.
Embroidery threads are also selected from physical thread ranges and therefore may not provide an exact equivalent to every digital, HEX, RGB, CMYK or Pantone colour.
Slight variations between the colour shown in digital artwork and the finished embroidery or print are therefore not considered a defect where a reasonable colour match has been made.
If an exact or particularly important brand colour is required, the customer must make this clear before production begins. We can then discuss available thread colours, physical samples or other colour-matching options where appropriate.
4. Embroidery
Embroidery involves converting artwork into a stitch file suitable for the garment and fabric being embroidered.
Some small details, fine lines, gradients, tiny lettering and intricate elements may need to be simplified or adjusted to produce a suitable embroidered result.
Embroidery is a physical process and therefore will not always reproduce a digital logo identically.
Minor variations in stitch position, density, texture and appearance are a normal characteristic of embroidered products.
5. Garment Colours & Sizes
Garment colours may appear differently on screen compared with the physical product.
There may also be minor shade variations between manufacturing batches.
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct garment sizes. Size guides are provided where available, but sizing can vary between manufacturers and garment styles.
Personalised garments cannot normally be exchanged because the wrong size has been ordered unless Pink Rainbow Designs supplied a different size from the one ordered.
6. Placement of Logos & Designs
Unless a precise position has been agreed beforehand, logos and designs will be positioned using our standard placement for the relevant garment.
Due to differences in garment construction, sizing, seams and panels, the exact position of embroidery or printing may vary slightly between garments and sizes.
7. Customer-Supplied Garments
Where we agree to personalise garments supplied by the customer, this is undertaken at the customer's risk.
While every reasonable precaution will be taken, embroidery and printing involve machinery, heat and other production processes.
We cannot guarantee replacement of customer-supplied garments in the event of an unavoidable production issue, unless the loss or damage results from our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
8. Prices & Payment
Prices will be confirmed before an order is accepted.
Payment may be required in full before production begins unless otherwise agreed.
Any additional work requested after an order has been approved, including artwork changes, additional embroidery, printing or garments, may incur an additional charge.
9. Turnaround Times
Any turnaround or completion date provided is an estimate unless we expressly agree a fixed deadline in writing.
We will make every reasonable effort to complete orders within the estimated timeframe, but delays can occasionally occur due to garment availability, supplier delays, machinery issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Changes & Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
If garments have already been ordered, artwork digitised, printing prepared or personalisation started, we may be unable to cancel the order or may need to charge for costs already incurred.
11. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Because personalised goods are made specifically for the customer, they cannot normally be returned, refunded or exchanged simply because the customer changes their mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
If you believe we have made an error, or an item is faulty or does not match the agreed order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide photographs showing the issue.
We will assess the item and, where appropriate, offer a suitable remedy in accordance with your statutory rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, re-performance or a refund.
Please do not return items without contacting us first.
12. Customer Errors
Pink Rainbow Designs cannot be held responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer, including incorrect:
-
Spelling
-
Names
-
Telephone numbers
-
Website addresses
-
Garment sizes
-
Garment colours
-

-

-

Where possible, we may offer to remake an item at an additional cost.
13. Copyright & Permission to Use Artwork
By supplying us with a logo, design, image or other artwork, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permission for us to reproduce it for your order.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that supplied artwork does not infringe another person's intellectual property rights.
14. Photography & Social Media
We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, website or social media.
If you do not want your order photographed or shared, please let us know when placing your order.
We will not intentionally publish confidential customer information.
15. Complaints
We take pride in our work and want customers to be happy with their finished products.
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us with your order details and photographs where appropriate so that we can investigate and try to resolve the issue.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions is intended to restrict or exclude any rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Where the customer is a consumer, they will also retain any mandatory rights regarding jurisdiction provided by applicable consumer law.
